Hey Everyone

This is the beginning of a blog spot to help communicate to everyone mission trips or events that are going on and update everyone. In the past we have sent out emails however this will be much more effective. This will first be used while we are in Plant City on our mission trip. Hopefully we will be able to report back everyday using this website. Now you cannot hold that against me because I do not know what the days will bring. But use this as a way to find out what is going on, on our mission trips and it will be great. Be blessed.

  2. The Advance Mission Setup Team went to Plant City on Thursday Dec. 17. The trip was incredible. Hall Stinespring, Andy Stinespring, Doug Calvert, Ed Layton and John Brewer all went on the trip. We had a great time of fellowship and were going for the purpose of determining what needed to be done before the mission team arrives on Dec. 26 and what we might be dealing with when we all get there. What we found was almost beyond belief. Everyone on the team believed that God had already been to Plant City and made most of the arrangements. The electrical service for the camping was already in place. All we had to do was add some outlets and some lights. The area for the campers and tents was just what we need without any modifications. The need for a meeting and eating tent has already been met along with all the tables and chairs. We will not have to bring any. The water requirements are already there. The placed is fenced and is ideal for security concerns. The place is beautiful with old water oaks and Spanish moss everywhere. It will be like going to a state park to camp.

We also got to go to the strawberry farm and meet with some of the folks there. They were great and welcomed us. This is unusual in that no one has ever been allowed onto the strawberry fields or into the maintenance building where we will be having the services and bible school. Also, I was allowed to photograph the fields, buildings and people, which was a first. The people there are looking forward to our visit with much anticipation. They are very excited about us coming. I could write five pages about our trip, but I will not. To say that God is opening doors and paving our way is an understatement.
